We will be canvassing in Ward I and Ward V (5) for the next two years. We will continue to collect data and share the data for free so that everyone has an awareness of where the people stand on the major issues in Aurora. Go to the canvassing section from the menu to access the data from the different wards and house districts.

Ward V has 2 sections . *Note* these maps of Ward V do not represent the proportionality of the two sections accurately

Why Aurora Ideas?

The idea of having a community platform for the city of Aurora, Colorado came about through the many conversations we had with fellow Aurorans. In our experience with grassroots politics, we concluded that the number of people who actually pay attention to the laws that are created by their local leaders is miniscule. In thriving communities, everyone must play an integral role in shaping the culture, norms, laws and mores of that community. After all, when we look at the community in which we call home, we see ourselves.

The goal of this movement is to help Aurorans realize their potential in shaping community. We bring Aurorans together through the exchange of ideas.

Aurora Ideas is a data-driven group that is always striving for the truth. Our work will always be available to the public for free. Our vision is to turn the culmination of everyone’s stories and demands into effective laws that will enrich culture, standard of living, and inclusion / integration into the community.

Our utopian values:

  1. The people come first – sacrifice for each other and the greater good.
  2. Our vision is our guiding light
  3. Respect, value and care for everybody with equal intention
  4. Our focus is centered on our “why.”
  5. Community consensus is what determines our policy demands
  6. Trust, honesty, friendship, collaboration
